Full day tour, Zillertaler Höhenstrasse & Schlegeisspeicher, 331km, driving time approx. 6.5 hours plus breaks

One of the most beautiful day tours from the Munich area, but you should not leave too late. 

The Zillertaler Höhenstrasse impresses with great views of the Zillertal Alps and is incredibly fun. However, it is also a popular destination on beautiful weekends, many cyclists and motorists are also on the road.

In addition to the Zillertaler Höhenstrasse, the trip to the Schlegeisspeicher is also very worthwhile, although the toll of 13.00 for motorcycles is quite hefty.

On the other hand, you have a one-way drive through numerous tunnels and at the top of the Schlegeis reservoir, when the weather is nice, you have a great view across the reservoir to the highest 3-thousand-meter peaks of the Zillertal Alps.

Back it goes on the same way, the Zillertal out again to Fügen. Here there is a nice "Abschneider" over the Reiter Kogel, in's Alpbachtal or Brixleg on the Inn.

Along the Inn to Kufstein we avoid the main road, it goes on smaller parallel to Kufstein.
From Kufstein comes again a "Fahrschmankerl", it goes to Thiersee high and over the Ursprungpaß to Bayrischzell.

From Bayrischzell and Fischbachau once again along the Leitzach and in the direction of Rosenheim back to Maxlrain.

Special features:

The tour goes to Austria. Here it is mandatory that every motorcycle carries a first aid kit.
