All-day tour, lake circuit with a stitch into the Eng, 267km, riding time approx. 5 hours (plus breaks)

This is a road only tour.

A classic for many motorcyclists from the Munich area.
It goes up to Spitzingsee, past Schliersee to Tegernsee. Here, at the castle parking lot (km 63), you usually have a pretty good chance to park in a small group and take a look across the lake. It goes on through Tegernsee and Rottach-Egern. About 1 km after leaving Rottach-Egern, the natural cheese dairy "Tegernsser Land" is located on the right (crossing point, on the left is the Wallbergbahn, on the right the cheese dairy km 68,5).
Here, on the one hand, a nice terrace with cafe and cake invites you for a break and on the other hand, you should definitely take a look in the cellar.
It continues over the Achenpass. At km 86,2 it goes right direction Bad Tölz, Wallgau to the Sylvenstein.
The parking lot at the dam (km 93,4) is probably one of the most visited and best known motorcycle meeting places in the south of Munich. Here it can be in the summer months already times that there at the hundred motorcyclists on a summer weekend are to be met. And the view over the dammed Sylvenstein reservoir is also an absolute must.
From here, the route continues in the direction of Vordesriß (km 104) and there straight on to Hinteriß and the Eng. A special driving treat of curves and views.
The section from Hinteriß, however, is subject to toll (5, - €)
On weekends there is a lot going on, especially in the autumn months (from August).

The Große Ahornboden shortly before the Eng Almen is a special spectacle, especially in autumn, when the centuries-old maple trees turn yellow.
A visit to the Eng Almen (about 15 min. walk) is also very worthwhile and can also be done well in motorcycle garb.
Back it goes on the same way to Vorderiß. On the way you will find a variety of restaurants/restaurants.
The "Post" in Vorderiß (km 153) is a popular place to stop for a bite to eat. In the Eng it is mostly overcrowded.
From Vorderiß it goes over the toll road (here unfortunately also again 5, -€, this ticket is valid then however also for the Jachenau!) to Wallgau.
In Wallgau right direction Walchensee. Shortly before the Walchensee comes a small branch to the right (km 171) into the Jachenau.
This road is also subject to toll, but here also applies the ticket from Vorderiß! It goes along the Walchensee with many stop possibilities around the view over the lake away to the Herzogstand or Jochberg.
Through the Jachenau it goes further to Bad Tölz, through Tölz to Kirchbichl (km 218). There, turn right in the direction of Sachsenkam.
In Sachsenkam, pay attention to the signs if you still want to make the small and very worthwhile detour to Reutberg Monastery (km 225) with its special beer garden, from where you have a great view of the mountains.
From Reutberg Monastery/Sachsenkam it goes back via Wanrgau and once again very interesting Mangfall area near Valley back to Maxlrain.

In any case, you should have enough cash with you, often a card payment is not possible!
