STEAM NOODLE BLUES IN FRONTENHAUSEN

Full day tour, Dampfnudelblues in Frontenhausen/ Franz-Eberhofer Kreisel, 280km driving time approx. 5.5 hours (plus breaks)

This is an easy to ride road only tour.

From Maxlrain, the tour starts in a northerly direction, to Wasserburg. Situated above is a vantage point with a view over the town.

The route continues along secondary roads to Vilsbiburg, where Cafe Gabriel, located directly on the Great Vils, offers the opportunity for a break and a little refreshment.

The route continues along the Vils to Frontenhausen and the "Franz Eberhofer traffic circle".

The traffic circle is one of the filming locations of the Franz Eberhofer crime stories Dampfnudelblues, Winterkartoffelknödel, Kaiserschmarrndrama and some more.

From there, it's a short distance back to Frontenhausen, the "Niederkaltenkirchen" from the crime series. Here you can find more filming locations.

A good opportunity for a break/lunch.

Across the Inn and along the Alz, you will head home towards Chiemsee to the Kupferschmiede, the bikers' meeting place at Chiemsee, with the opportunity for a cafe and a short walk to Chiemsee.

Via side roads, past the monastery Seeon, at Griesstätt over the Inn and back you ride back to Maxlrain.
